How to turn a Gas Station attendant into improv character

What’s the best thing about Middle America Gas Stations? Tons of stuff with things like bumper stickers, centennial t-shirt’s, artifacts, weird museums and also aging men and woman who are living like it’s still the 1970’s.

This week I tapped into a character that I picked up at a roadside gas station right near the Spam Museum. A confluence of lifelong locals (mind you, salt of the earth folk) who I tend to seek out whenever I take long road trips. A woman was talking with what seemed to be her best friend. I stood directly behind the two like the happy fly on the wall that I was. Hilarity ensues. The cashier goes on to describe how putting a simple item in the freezer completely changed the game for her making one happy husband during dessert time. Here’s me doing a simple play by play of the action:

And below is my usage of said character in a Guffman style improv show. The first clip we talk to the camera as a couple who own a toothpaste museum. Second clip I find a tooth driven kink.

S’all gravy from here……..
